"Which benefit applies to whom?
Enhanced rate: A worker qualifies for the enhanced rate when the worker has completed qualifying trainings and provides services to a person who receives PCA services or participates in CDCS or CSG and either:
Is eligible for 10 or more hours of state plan PCA per day
Has the home care rating EN.
Stipend: As of July 1, 2023, workers who complete qualifying trainings qualify for one $500 stipend when they work with a person who is a participant in PCA Choice, CDCS or CSG. Stipends are available until funding is exhausted or until June 30, 2025, whichever is sooner."

Each year, the National Association for Rural Mental Health hosts a one of a kind conference focusing on rural and frontier mental health practice, research and public policy issues. The NARMH Annual conference brings together rural clinicians, administrators, consumers, researchers, and policy-makers. Participants’ learn about national issues and trends; develop new knowledge and skills; hear perspectives from rural consumers and advocates; and are provided with updates on the latest in research, practice and policy; socialize and HAVE FUN!

Minnesota Department of Human Services HCBS Workforce Development Grant

The Minnesota Legislature has created a HCBS workforce development grant program to attract and retain direct care workers who provide home and community-based services for people with disabilities and older adults. The grant, totaling $11,176,000, has received federal approval.
