Minnesota Private Colleges’ Job & Internship Fair

This fair is attended by over 2,000 undergraduate sophomores, juniors, and seniors from the participating 17 Private College career centers of the Minnesota Private College Council. Liberal arts and science students bring many skills and strengths that can be broadly applied to all industries and sectors.

The Partners program was created by the Minnesota Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities 35 years ago, and has been offered nationally and internationally. Through informative and interactive sessions, Partners teaches leadership skills and the process of developing positive partnerships with elected officials and other policymakers who make decisions about the services that you and/or your family use. Partners is accessible, informative and empowering. Since 1987, more than 1,100 self-advocates and parents have graduated in Minnesota.

Saints Health Career Fair

The College of St. Scholastica is excited to host our annual Saints Health Career Fair! This fair is marketed to any student wishing to secure part-time, internship, or full-time positions within the healthcare industry. We encourage undergraduate as well as graduate students to attend this event. The best way for employers to market their positions they wish to advertise at our event is to ensure these positions are posted in Handshake. That way our students see the direct connection to available positions and employers with whom they engage virtually.

Minnesota Department of Human Services Electronic Visit Verification Grant Program

The federal government will soon require some providers to use electronic visit verification systems to document that people are receiving the services that are billed to the state. The 21st Century Cures Act, Public Law 114–255 (PDF), signed in December 2016, requires providers of personal care, including personal care assistance (PCA) and some waiver services (beginning in 2020) and home health care providers (beginning in 2023) to use electronic visit verification to be eligible for full federal Medicaid matching dollars.

Government & Nonprofit Career Fair

The Career Fair allows Government and Nonprofit agencies to meet with candidates and alumni from the 30 participating Minnesota 4-year colleges and universities and participating regional colleges. Undergraduate and Graduate schools and programs are not allowed to attend this event as exhibitors. The Government & Nonprofit Career Fair allows candidates to pursue professional opportunities and internships in all levels of government and nonprofit agencies. The job fair is open only to students and alumni from participating colleges and universities.

Attend this virtual event to promote internships, full-time, and volunteer opportunities to talented and diverse liberal arts students! Employers in the for-profit, nonprofit, and government sectors with professional opportunities that require students to be working toward a bachelor’s degree in the liberal arts are invited to attend. This event is for current College of Liberal Arts (CLA) students and recent alumni. This fair will also be open to undergraduate students in other colleges at the U of M.
